For comfortable disk management on the key one needs a PC running Windows. Since the floppy-bus only runs with 500kb/s it doesn’t need to be fast. The Atari (in contrast to a PC) expects the first drive to be ID0. In most cases FlashFloppy requires a straight floppy cable, without any twists. software wise it was a bit confusing but the documentation is really helpful, first you get the FLASHER-STM32:Ģa.get the flashfloppy firmware and download it:Ģb.download the CP2102 UART bridge Driver software because apparently, they don't install automatically:Ģc. On the floppy-emu the jumpers MO and S0 need to be set (see picture). Place an extra jumper on JC (and one on S0) Place an extra jumper on JC (and one on S1) If the system still does not work and the green LED stays on continuously, it may be that the floppy cable is wrong, try mounting the cable upside down, And lastly. I had faced a couple of problems that needed to be tackled:ġ.to flash SFR1M44-U100K you need to solder headers to some empty pads near the power connector like so:ġa.must connect the UART bridge properly to the gotek TX->RX & RX->TX and ensure that the flash enable jumper is connected to ground.ġb.check before you download the software if you UART bridge has any pull-up resistors or not, if not like in my CP2102 UART bridge you would need to install two pull-up resistors the value doesn't really matter as long as 5K.
